Watching the Radio – Domingo This Week; Veracini Next Week on Ö1

Saturday night (tonight), Domingo explores more of the baritone repertoire in a live broadcast from the Theater an der Wien of Verdi’s I due Foscari.

Meanwhile, across town at the Wiener Kontzerthaus, a performance of Veracini’s Adriano in Siria will be recorded for next week’s Saturday Night Opera broadcast. This mezzo-fest features some of our favorite Baroque specialists: Sonia Prina, Ann Hallenberg, Romina Basso, Roberta Invernizzi, and others, with the Ensemble Europa Galante under the baton (and violin) of Fabio Biondi.
