Impromptu, presented by WFMT in Chicago is a live afternoon series of
“impromptu” music and conversation that often
features artists appearing in Chicago.
This week, they welcomed Joyce DiDonato, who is in town
for performances of La Clemenza di Tito (which our friend Earworm just saw live). JDD is charming as usual, chatting about and singing opera.
I like Joyce DiDonato. Her interpretations of the works of Handel, Mozart is unforgettable. Good to see her again.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely. JDD is both a wonderful singer and a great ambassador for music in general and opera in particular. Thanks for reading!
DeleteMore things to listen to when I should be working! (Also, I am impressed how you keep up with all these streaming things - I am really terrible at that kind of planning.)
